I feel the same way about these images (that they are striking, haunting, and a little disturbing -- not that they&#039;ll serve as the first installment of increasingly graphical medical imagery.) And I&#039;d think they were interesting even if they weren&#039;t my retinas, and so I wanted to share them. 

Well, that and to share the good news: that my previous entry on this subject (&quot;Ischemia&quot;) turned out to be unnecessarily dark.]]></description>
